Be A Part Of A
Growing Australian Steel Icon

I feel like Orrcon has good structure and that the general floor staff are taken seriously and looked after. It is an enjoyable place to work.

People are willing to make sure you are working with the right tools and are willing to train you and and respect you as well. Great bunch of people, wish I had started working here years ago.

The interview process was great. I felt comfortable and informed at all times throughout the process. From the job advertisement to the final process it was clear and informative. I am feeling extremely happy to be part of the Orrcon Team and looking forward to what the future will bring.

Orrcon has provided me with the opportunity to progress my career within a supportive and motivating environment.

I have three strong mentors I can bounce between and each has unique skill sets and experiences that really help me mature and grow as a leader.  There is excellent flexibility between work life balance even though I rotate between the three shifts I am left manage it within reason.

I think the good thing about the business, the role and Orrcon was that there wasn’t a massive amount of time pressure to do everything by a certain date, and I was really looked after and eased into the role well allowing me to get out of my comfort zone. My Manager mentored me well and it made me comfortable which gave time for me to settle in, learn who to contact, the system requirements etc.

There was a lot to learn but I felt it was handled and planned well. I wasn’t overloaded and it was spaced out well. I can see myself further developing my knowledge and skill. I can learn in the digital space and perhaps have the opportunity to do some courses in the future.
